Golden Ratio Set

Six matte white domes and three in gold, hung as a three-by-three grid. Restrained until the light catches the gold, and then it is the only thing in the room. Each orb is cast in fiberglass and painted by hand, one piece at a time, so no two are quite identical. They mount flush to the wall and throw a soft shadow that shifts through the day, reading as one composition rather than nine separate objects.

• Set of 9: six matte white orbs and three in gold

• Finished size: 58 × 58 cm as a 3 × 3 grid, at our suggested 11 cm spacing
